#9 Jackie Wilson – My Empty Arms

Jackie Wilson, best known for songs as Reet Petite, was a major black artist of the sixties, so appreciated by the King that he paid for his nine years of hospitalization in the coma.
I don’t know why this song was commercially so minor, becaus eit is excellent, evocating a good James Bond music.
This song was covered in 1963 in a banjo blugras version by The Kentucky Travelers.

#10 Bobby Vee – Rubber Ball

This song was number six four weeks ago.
